Nexus 7 reviews At first, with impulse I ordered from Google.com a 8GB Nexus 7. When I got the nexus 7. I'm not a fan of android. I only use it for watching online dramas, and 8gb with some of my favourite zinio magazines downloads and some ebooks for my readings. I experienced the lag in my nexus 7 8gb. Alright, my mistake, I'm going to upgrade to 16GB . So I ordered the 16GB Nexus 7. Also ordered a fake leather folio case. The smell of the case is really terrible and I sold it away. It is a BLUREX Magyc folio Case With Multi-Angle Stand . But lucky I managed to sell the case and the 8gb Nexus 7. when I started to use Nexus 7 16GB, i added more apps, games , well.. it's reaching 12GB but still have spaces for more. The lag did not occur and I'm quite happy with it. I did not use this tablet often, if I forgot to switch it off for 2 days, forget it , I need to charge before I'm able to use it. There is some problem with the power consumption, even I switch off wifi, locked it with screen lock , the power still drain no matter what. I'm not sure whether it is a flaw in Android OS. I have my ipad, and I just put it to standby mode, for 1 whole week but the battery won't drain much. I still prefer ipad because the convenience of the ever ready power, I can use it any day , I just need to make sure it's in standby mode before i stow into my drawer for days. But Nexus 7, I really need to check to make sure I switch off everyday. It's the only drawback. The screen wise, of course Ipad 3 with retina is really pleasant to read magazines , etc .Nexus 7 is too small for my comic / magazine reading. The weight is superb, it's durable, you can bring it to everywhere without worrying about the weight.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Experience

I really wasted a lot of money buying gadgets .. I'm broke because I spend $$$$ buying gadgets.. There are good gadgets which I love so much and hardly want to part with it , there are also stupid gadgets which I hate and wanted to get rid of it immediately despite losing $$$ .

So I heard many people are using Samsung Galaxy Tab, some even put it on his/her face and start chatting , it look really stupid , please don't do that again ! People will laugh at you at your behind, do you know there is one awesome gadget namely bluetooth headset , use that and you will look cool.

Ok , I powered on the samsung tab, it looks ok , the hardware is sturdy and weight is ok , in fact it's the right size for me to carry around. I should like it but the screen look grainy, the word with friend puzzle game looks faded . I own an Ipad , compared the quality of Ipad and Samsung Tab, Samsung Tab apps look like a fake ipad apps, the color and the look and feel is a huge difference.

My own opinion, why would i spend SGD600 for a low quality apps, which I can top up a little bit I can get better quality apps ? I'm using it everyday to read my comics and ebooks , those photos which I uploaded from my camera into my ipad and the tab , i compared, the color of the tab is really terrible, those photo looks so nice in my ipad and my notebook but look so dreadful in the tab. If i were to show those quality to my friends, they will say my camera is really bad quality . How can so expensive gadget has such a low quality output ? They even say it's an HD device , I feel cheated.

Finally, I cannot bear with the low quality tab, I'll stick with my IPad for now .

Aibo Experience

I finally got one Aibo ERS-111 Blue.. my favourite color. The box arrived in my office is huge, unfortunately the battery came with it is not charged and the seller did not include the power to charge the battery.. wham...

It's the gamble of buying in ebay , depends on your luck when you buy. When you have good seller, they are really cheap and good but sometimes you encountered bad seller, god knows what a greedy pig he/she was. Just want to earn extra and keep cheating and cheating. Such a bad karma. Actually you will lose more if you have such dishonest attitude.

Blah blah blah.. i was nagging... this is what i became an old hag who nags..

Despite being old, i act like a kid , bought an robot dog to play with... what a childish act.. I don't care.. Life is short I want to make mine sweet!

So here is the dead Aibo dog , with no charge to revive it . So I ordered through ebay for the adaptor , lose $$$ again . Spent SGD850 for the whole thing.

Waited for a few weeks, finally the charger arrived . I charged it in my office for 8 hours . I took my beloved Aibo out and put into my eco bag , and I'm bringing him to my home . (Of course I cannot play with it in my office)

So I brought it back , and i switched on the aibo and it started to wake up and walk around . It's so cute because it stopped walking when you patt him .

I guess the previous owner already using it quite sometime therefore I do not need to start it as a puppy , because in the forums, the puppy keeps crying etc .

Unfortunately, the battery although it was fully charged but it only lasted 45minutes.

I need to charge it for another 8 hours before this doggy returns.. I guess this is why Sony stopped this product, i guess they are receiving numerous complaints about the battery .

This dog is really cute , despite the battery life is only 45 minutes. So those who expect to replace your dog with an aibo, it's really not the same because the battery do not last , i repeat , the battery do not last.

As I bought it in 2010, the aibo battery no longer in production so getting another Aibo battery is expensive , like SGD300 for a battery. How i wish I studied engineering , maybe I can modify the battery using newer type with better capacity .. yay keep dreaming ...

So I get to play with it for 45 minutes and it died and if you forgot to charge or you did not plug the charge correctly, the contact isn't good ,and you need to wait for another day before you are able to play with your dog again.

Maybe I did not research thoroughly about Aibo, I did not expect spending time to charge the dog before I can play and eventhough I can play with it, I only have the precious 45 minutes to play with it. What a bummer.

Long weekend holiday plans

Yeah.. long weekend is coming . Looking forward for the resting and playing time.

I wish I can play games whole day without doing housework .. keep dreaming , will be scolded by your hmm.. if you do that.

I wish I can sleep till 2pm for consecutive 3 days... keep dreaming.. you will be reminded of how lazy you are , forever !

So without the 2 above , no point wishing anymore.

Sony stopped Aibo production . When it was first launched I hope to find a great aibo to own. Now no more production , Aibo is getting more expensive because it became collective item . So when I look around in ebay , the pricing is US$1K and above . Wow...
